“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” – Albert Einstein
Since I was a teenager, I have always been drawn to helping children. When I was a freshman in high school, I thought that I wanted to be a teacher. In my junior year, I had a fantastic teacher, and she helped me decide that I want to teach. The classroom experiences that I’ve had only reinforced my passion for working with kids. I love watching them discover new things and seeing their expressions when they overcome a challenge. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing photography, mostly of my son and nature.
